Skipping and Guessing the questions.

So much of people's had the confusion in SAT exam is which could be better to skip the questions or guess the questions and how may questions are recommend to skipping per section. First we have to know the marks for the questions. For each correct answer get 1 point and unanswered question don't lose your points and each wrong answer lose 1/4 of a point. So, if you can narrow it down to 2-3 choices, guess. If you had an idea you don't skip and guess. But the ones you have no idea, don't answer them just skip them. That's how most people get such low scores is by guessing and getting the answer wrong. So I guess it depends on how you feel about the question. I would not recommend skipping questions for the sake of skipping questions, that's just foolish. Mathematically, the way i just described to you gives the best results if you are unsure. If you are better at maths, skip less on maths and same for the english portion. Just focus on doing as much as you can, an opposed to as much as you can't. But my SAT teacher said if you can eliminate 2 of the choices its best to guess, if not them leave it blank.
